MBTA police Officer Dic Donohue, who was gravely injured in a shootout with the Boston Marathon bombers, took to Twitter Thanksgiving morning with a special announcement."Thankful for the newest addition to the Donohue family, set to arrive in April! #HappyThanksgiving," Donohue tweeted.Donohue and his wife, Kim, have a 2-year-old son.Dic Donohue Tweet - ChildDonohue, 35, nearly bled to death on the night of the Watertown shootout in April 2013. He was hit by a stray bullet during the firefight between police and Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev.Donohue went to the police academy with MIT police officer Sean Collier, who was shot and killed by the Tsarnaev brothers. 

MBTA police Officer Dic Donohue, who was gravely injured in a shootout with the Boston Marathon bombers, took to Twitter Thanksgiving morning with a special announcement.

Donohue and his wife, Kim, have a 2-year-old son.

Donohue, 35, nearly bled to death on the night of the Watertown shootout in April 2013. He was hit by a stray bullet during the firefight between police and Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

Donohue went to the police academy with MIT police officer Sean Collier, who was shot and killed by the Tsarnaev brothers.
