England outclass Thailand 9-2 in polo in Manipur

A press release issued by the Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association said tomorrow, in the last match of the league round of the tournament, the USA Polo team would be pitted against the England polo team in the first ground.

IMPHAL: The England polo team today outclassed Thailand 9-2 in the 9th Manipur Polo International played at the Imphal polo ground.
A press release issued by the Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association said tomorrow, in the last match of the league round of the tournament, the USA Polo team would be pitted against the England polo team in the first ground.
In the second ground India would play against Australia.
China's Ambassador to India Le Yucheng would be the Chief Guest tomorrow.

Srikanth, Prannoy, Jayaram lose place in BWF ranking
New Delhi, Nov 26 (PTI) Ace shuttler Saina Nehwal was static at World Number 2, but Indian male shuttlers K Srikanth, H S Prannoy and Ajay Jayaram lost a place each in the latest badminton ranking.
In the ranking released today, Saina held on to her world No. 2 spot and even P V Sindhu, who is currently defending her title at Macau Open, also maintained her number 12 position.
However, a series of few early exits have taken a toll on Srikanth, Prannoy and Jayaram as they slipped to the 8th, 20th and 25th position even as injured Parupalli kashyap saw a one place rise in his ranking to reach the 14th place.
Men's doubles pair of Manu Attri and B Sumeeth Reddy improved a place to break into the top 20 once again, while Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa also held on to their number 12 position in women's doubles ranking.
