Bollywood is hitting back at the Pahlaj Ni halaniled censor board with online spoofs lampooning the clampdown on films including snipping kissing scenes from the latest Bond flick `Spectre', reports Himanshi Dhawan.

Bollywood is hitting back at the Pahlaj Ni halaniled censor board with online spoofs lampooning the clampdown on films including snipping kissing scenes from the latest Bond flick `Spectre', reports Himanshi Dhawan.

At least four videos starring Dibakar Banerjee, Sudhir Mishra, Richa Chadda, Kanu Behl and Kamal Swaroop have mocked the recent attempts by the board to “sanitize'' films by beeping out cuss words and editing out “excessively'' violent or sex scenes.
A 10-minute video by theviralfever.com visualizes a “pre-censor board'' with members like Sudhir Mishra, Mahesh Bhatt, Hansal Mehta, Banerjee advising a hapless Kanu Behl (of Titli' fame, that ran into trouble with the censor board) on cutting down on cuss words and omitting sex scenes.
