Recently an associate professor Chen Chaohui of Fujian University began to use an app for students to sign in at his class. It only takes 20 seconds for a class of 139 students to sign in.

"It's very interesting, signing in to class is just like grabbing red envelopes," said junior Huang Zuyi, that the app needs the student’s personal account to login and the professor would also specify the time at class for signing in. The app has made the classroom atmosphere more vibrant.

Besides sign-in Professor Chen also use the app for teaching. Every time he uploads all the class materials to the app. Students can discuss and upload their homework as well.

Because Professor Chen introduced using an app for class, he is able to get students’ feedback as soon as possible and keep a track of students’ learning process. And for students it is much more convenient to get the class materials. The app also encourages students to actively participate and interact with the teacher and other classmates.
