Karun and Sameea looked impressive at JLR’s new Range Rover Evoque launch's Bond-themed party at the British embassy in Chennai

James Bond is definitely the man of the moment, and a recent Bond-themed event to mark the launch of a compact SUV only showed how beloved the fictional spy is in the city. The guests included a cross section of the city’s who’s who — Kollywood celebs, sports personalities and page 3 peeps. Tennis ace Vijay Amritraj and businessman and motor racing aficionado TT Varadarajan made dashing appearances while director Dharani and Hrishikesh of Velaiilla Pattadhari fame ensured that the event had its share of film-industry glam.
Designer Karun Raman looked dapper in a royal blue tuxedo while Sameea impressed in her white sleeveless shirt and black trousers. Madhurima looked svelte in an all-black ensemble. Raj and Anjali graciously posed for the shutterbugs and were seen hobnobbing with the guests.
