Deported Ulfa member arrested
A day after he reached home on Tuesday, deported Ulfa member Babul Goswami was arrested by Darrang Police as he is wanted in two cases.
GUWAHATI: A day after he reached home on Tuesday, deported Ulfa member Babul Goswami was arrested by Darrang Police as he is wanted in two cases. Goswami was handed over to his family members on Monday by the CBI after he and two others, including Anup Chetia, were deported together Bangladesh.
On Tuesday, his friends and family members were happy to see him.Police said Goswami is wanted in a TADA case and as we served a warrant, he was taken into custody and will be produced in court shortly. There are two cases of murder and gun-running against Goswami.
