Mettur water level
The water level in Stanley Reservoir in Mettur stood at 89.880 ft against its full reservoir level of 120 ft on Wednesday morning. Public Works Department officials said that the inflow of water was 7,915 cusecs while the outflow was 800 cusecs.
Children’s science congress
The 23rd National Children’s Science State Congress 2015 would be held at Muthayammal Engineering College in Rasipuram here from November 27 to 29. It is organised by the Tamil Nadu Science Forum, and the college. V. Ponraj, scientist, would be the chief guest. The theme for the congress is ‘Understanding weather and climate.’
