HML land issue referred to Division Bench

A writ petition filed by Harrison Malayalam Limited (HML)challenging the order of M.G. Rajamanikkam, the Special Officer, taking over the land in the possession of the company in four districts, was referred to a Division Bench by a single judge. Justice P.V. Asha while passing the order observed that there were various judgments by the Division Bench relating to the land in the possession of the company. There were also a large number of purchase certificates issued to the company without considering the eligibility of cultivating tenant. Therefore, all these matters required consideration by a Division Bench.
