Sulochana Devi School wins cricket tourney

THANE: Smt Sulochana Devi Singhania School has won the third AISM inter-school cricket tournament organised recently by N L Dalmia School. Singhania defeated Smt Lilavati Podar High School by 63 runs.
Five students have been picked in the state team for ICSE Nationals to be held in Lucknow. City boy Dishan Rane and his coach Naresh Waghmare have been chosen the captain and coach respectively.
Singhania elected to bat first and set a total of 167 for 5 wickets. Omkar Chettiar stayed unbeaten at 81 and captain Dishan Rane chipped in 52 runs supported by Prithvik Pandit with 18 runs.
