The fate of several Catholic schools within in the Windsor-Essex board will be decided by March.

Schools involved in an accommodation review process are in West Windsor, Amherstburg, and Leamington.

St. James in west Windsor is recommended to become a JK to grade 6 school while grade 7 and 8 students would attend a new middle school at Assumption.

It has been recommened that Stella Maris would absorb St. Bernard in Amherstburg, and Queen of Peace and St. Louis would join in Leamington. Queen of Peace would host a JK to grade 6 school and offer French immersion.

A new middle school at Cardinal Carter would be created for grade 7 and 8 students.
