Karachi: Maryam Mukhtiar, a co-pilot of PAF who died in a plane crash, was laid to rest in Karachi with full military honour.
PAF, Ranger and army officials and a large number of people attended her funeral.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Shareef commended the courage of the brave flight officer and paid rich tributes for her invaluable service.

PAF chief, Sohail Aman also paid a loaded tribute to the departed soul and said that the nation will never forget the sacrifice rendered by Maryam.

Core commander Karachi, Lt-Gen Naveed Mukhtar said that the late Maryam set a matchless example for other daughters of the nation.
