(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Delegates and members of the Qatari Equine Veterinary Association held their first meeting at the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) late on Monday evening. Among the many topics discussed and shared among the members of the Association were best practices in case of various health issues that horses face, and how to treat and prevent them. The meeting was held with the support of QREC in pursuit of official recognition by the government and had as many as 30 veterinary medical professionals in attendance including Dr Ebtessam Elmoslemany, manager of the horse hospital at QREC, and Dr Peter Rakestro of the USA.
