BENGALURU: Music, theatre, painting, sculpture, photography and dance ­ the One Bengaluru Festival at Orion Mall hosted by Bangalore Mirror on November 28 promises to be a dawn-to-dusk cultural extravaganza, with the best of the city's artistes taking part in it.
Starting with a live painting installation by popular artiste Baadal Nanjundaswamy, the programme includes shows by home-grown bands like the Vasu Dixit Trio, Clown with a Frown, One Girl Shy, rapper Brodha V , Parvaaz and Sulk Station.
Popular mu sic band, Thermal and a Quarter, which recently returned from a success ful tour to Germany , will also take centre stage. Be sides music, there will be dance performances by Mayuri Upadhya and the Nritarutya Dance Collective, acro-salsa dancer Richard Tholoor, and Hip Hop India.
Besides this, visitors to the mall can treat themselves to art installations by prominent artists, photographers and sculptors. The mall's galleria will be exhibiting paintings by internationally acclaimed artists Yusuf Arakkal, SG Vasudev, Paresh Hazra, Gurudas Shenoy , cartoonist Paul Fernandes and sculptures by critically acclaimed contemporary artist Dimpy Menon.There will also be a street play performance inside the mall premises by Rangaraj from We Move Theatre. This festival is patronised by TTK Prestige & Chariot World Tours in association with Lee and Orion Mall.
