Four, including infant, killed in road accident

Three labourers and an infant from two tandas in Zaheerabad in Telangana State died on the spot and 10 suffered serious injuries when a tractor trailer in which they were travelling collided with a truck on the National Highway connecting Humnabad and Kalaburagi district near Kinni Sadak village in Kamalapur in Kalaburagi taluk on Tuesday.

The police said that the victims hailing from Chowkla Naik and Chandra Naik Tanda in Zaheerabad were all sugarcane cutters and were proceeding to Renuka Sugar Factory in Afzalpur taluk in Kalaburagi district when the accident took place.
