It took until the 73rd minute for County to score again through Alan Sheehan's low 25-yard shot before Aaron Mclean's free-kick cut the deficit.
Edwards headed County's fourth a minute later before Luke Gambin's clinical finish gave a late consolation to Barnet, who have only won one away league game all season.
