Tusk meets Croatian premier in Zagreb over refugee crisis

Visiting European Council President Donald Tusk on Tuesday met with Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic, discussing the ongoing refugee crisis and solution at the EU level.

They also discussed the security situation in Europe following the recent terrorist attacks in Paris,according to the press release from the government.

Tusk arrived in Zagreb to attend a Brdo-Brijuni Process summit, an annual meeting gathering leaders from former Yugoslav countries and Albania, on Wednesday.

The U.S. Vice President Joe Biden and Austrian President Heinz Fischer are expected to attend the summit, which aims at promoting regional cooperation and settling outstanding issues in the region.

Before arriving in Zagreb, Tusk has visited Serbia, Albania and Macedonia, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina. Endit
