Scores of people gathered at the KD Singh Babu stadium and carried out a candle march till GPO, demanding justice for Naman Verma led by his parents.
Naman’s father Mahendra Verma told reporters that his son had no enmity with anyone and the family was aware of everything about him.
“I will wait for justice. We have been through hell in the last few days with the pain of losing our young son,” said Mahendra Verma. Native of Hardoi, Verma retired from Indian Navy and runs a bullion store in Madiaon.
Naman’s cousin sisters were seen consoling his mother Kanchan who stood in front of his photograph almost like a statue. “I have stopped feeling anything since my son has gone away. People are not safe in the city anymore. I request police to arrest the murderers at the earliest,” said Kanchan. Naman left behind a younger brother.

A complete stranger to us then, Naman contacted me and donated a unit. I am sure he was an extremely helpful person and have joined the fight of his parents,” said Singh.
Support poured in from all over the country and thousands of youths who have passed out from various centers of Institute of Hotel Management have demanded the perpetrators are brought to book.
