Scores of people were hospitalised with complaints about suffocation from a gas leak in a cold storage in Badami Bagh late on Monday night. A Rescue 1122 official said the residents were asleep when the accident took place. He said soon there was panic in the area and people rushed outdoors in search of help. He said the rescue effort had started immediately. He said the affected were moved to the Mayo Hospital. The condition of three people was stated to be serious. On Tuesday, Badami Bagh police registered an attempted murder case against four workers and took them into custody. A district administration team later sealed the factory on Tuesday.
