Action has always been the bastion of male actors in Bollywood. But every once in a while there have been role reversals. In Bajirao Mastani, Deepika Padukone plays a warrior and will be seenperforming stunts for a war sequence.

Aishwarya made a bhaari comeback with Jazbaa, where she was seen doing some daredevil action.Earlier, Ash played a warrior (trained in martial arts) in the Hollywood film The Last Legion. And let’s not forget queen Jodhaa’s sword fight in Jodhaa Akbar.
Manasvi in Action Jackson
She made an action-packed debut in a dark and sexy role, opposite Ajay Devgn. Playing a seductress, the actress learnt Kalaripayattu (a South Indian martial art form) and took commando training for the film.

Kangana Ranaut in Revolver Rani
As a woman more lethal than her guns, and hotter than her bullets, her character in the film was styled along the lines of Phoolan Devi. Foul-tongued and feisty, she meant ‘bloody’ business and didn’t think twice before pulling the trigger.
Katrina Kaif in Phantom and Ek Tha Tiger
Blessed with an athletic body, Katrina sizzles as she delivers her kicks and punches. Phantom saw her in a gun-toting avatar with some stylishly-picturised action sequences. Earlier in Ek Tha Tiger, Katrina performed stunts on speeding boats and moving cars.
Amy Jackson in Singh Is Bliing
This hottie was seen in an action- packed avatar opposite Akshay Kumar in Singh is Bliing. The actress trained herself in mixed martial arts and kick-boxing as she was determined to be the perfect match for ‘Khiladi Kumar’.
