Hyundai Creta receives over 70,000 bookings in India, 15,700 global orders

The company says that the Hyundai Creta hasn’t just received a great response in the Indian market, but in global markets as well such as Latin America (Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru & Panama), Middle East (Oman, UAE, Saudi) and Africa (Egypt, Morocco & Nigeria).

Priced between Rs 9.1 lakh – Rs 14.4 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), the vehicle is available in three engine options – 1.6 petrol, 1.4-litre diesel and 1.6-litre diesel.

Launched in July 2015, Hyundai Creta has received quite an overwhelming response from buyers with over 70,000 bookings and 3,40,000 enquiries in India and over 15,770 orders globally. As a matter of fact, the Creta has also been ruling the SUV sales chart ever since its launch with over 21,982 retailed units till October 2015. Having said that, the Mahindra Bolero outsold the Creta last month with a margin of around 500 units.

Now the CRETA goes global and we have received strong response from world markets,”

Despite retailing in good numbers and ramping up its production, waiting period for the Hyundai Creta is over 3 months in some cities. To further bring down the waiting period, Hyundai is planning to make 10,000 units of the car by the end of this year.

Priced between Rs 8.7 lakh – Rs 13.8 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), The Hyundai Creta is available in three engine options – a 1.6-litre VTVT petrol, 1.6-litre CRDi diesel and a 1.4-litre CRDi diesel.
