Soumya P.R. of Maharaja’s College has won the first prize at the college level in Malayalam category in the essay contest organised by the Ernakulam District Tourism Promotion Council. Goutham Vishnu of Law College, Ernakulam, won the second prize.
Varun Ashoka of Brahmodayam Higher Secondary School, Kalady, won the first prize in the contest at the school level. Robert of GHSS, Muppathadam, won the second prize.
Nazreen C.A. of Cochin University of Science and Technology won the first prize at the college level in the English category.
Natasha Biji Joseph of St. Xavier’s College for Women, Aluva, won the second prize.
Anna Maria Mathew of Government VHSS, Edappally, won the first prize in the English category at the school level.
Faeez F.F. of Government HSS, Alappuzha, won the second prize in the category, said a press release here.
The competition was held as part of World Tourism Day celebrations.
