Uthara Unnikrishnan, who was conferred the National Award for her debut song in Saivam, has sung a song in Vijay 59 directed by Atlee. This is the second time GV Prakash has roped in Uthara to sing one of his compositions after Azhage Azhagu. Recently, Uthara had said that she was a big fan of Vijay and the song she had crooned for Vijay 59 was a lively number.
A source said, “Uthara recorded a song for Atlee’s film in the city a while ago, which has come out very well.” This makes one doubt if this would be for actress Meena’s daughter baby Nainika, who acts as Vijay’s daughter in the film. The recent buzz is that there is also this melodious song that emphasises the relationship between Vijay and Samantha, from the time of marriage to the couple giving birth to a baby girl, but we aren’t sure if both are same. Going by this news, rumours are abuzz that Samantha may play a mother in the movie. So far, she hasn’t played a mother character in her career. Produced by S Thanu, Prabhu and Raadhika are also a part of this movie. Acclaimed music composer and singer Deva has also sung a song in it. Looks like this would be one of the most memorable albums in GV Prakash’s career as this is his 50th film.
