TV’s heartthrob Karan Patel from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein turned a year older on Monday. We caught up with the actor on his birthday and quizzed him on a bunch of things.
Recently there were rumours linking you with co-star Divyanka Tripathi. Does such talk affect your personal life?
People and especially the media tend to think that actors are super human beings. It’s high time they realise that we have the same emotions as everyone else — I would appreciate if they respect our personal life.
What do you love most about your wife Ankita Bhargava?
I love her; so I love everything that comes with her.
How do you keep the romance alive after marriage?
We share a very strong friendship. We also give each other space, which in my opinion, is very important. I think in the end, it’s all about making it work together.
Fans always look forward to the Raman-Ishita romance and don’t seem too happy with the latest supernatural track…
I know, it’s new for the audience but one has to break the clutter and give something new. Since the ghost track drama, TRP’s have risen, so I guess audiences are loving the track.
