Online value store Grofers has established its presence across 26 cities in the country.
R Janardhana Balaji, Area Manager for Grofers, said, “We are just a two-month-old store in this textile hub, but we are already registering good traction.”
The customer has to download the app, register his login details and place the order; thereafter he will receive the supplies within 90 minutes. Payments can be made on receipt by cash or card (credit and debit card), Balaji said.
Grofers has tied up with Nilgiris, Donuts and a couple of others in the city for sourcing its supplies and delivering the same at the customer’s door-step.
This online mobile app store is looking to relocate to Saibaba Colony very soon.
Sunil Douglas, Deputy Area Manager, said that most areas in the city have been mapped excepting Vadavalli and Saravanampatti. “These areas will also be brought in soon. We have 17 delivery boys at present,” he said.
