City KV to host children's science congress

The programme will be held from November 26 to 28 and will be inaugurated by Dr. V. Vijayalakshmi, joint commissioner, KVS New Delhi.
City KV to host children's science congress
MUMBAI: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, has convened a confluence of 450 students from KVs across the country who will find a platform at children's science congress at Kendriya Vidyalaya IIT Powai, Mumbai to present their innovative projects based on the focal theme of understanding weather and climate.
The programme will be held from November 26 to 28 and will be inaugurated by Dr.
V. Vijayalakshmi, joint commissioner, KVS New Delhi. Professor Devang V.Khakhar, Director IITB will declare the 42 selected projects which will represent KVS at National children's Science Congress, Chandigarh in December.
“KVS National Science Congress , aims to instill in the young minds of our students, a spirit of free inquiry, scientific outlook, responsibility towards society and mould a generation of sensitive, responsible citizens of tomorrow” said Chandana Mandel, Deputy Commissioner, of KVS Mumbai Region.
