SHRC directive on homoeo hospital

The State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) has directed the Chief Secretary and the District Collector to submit a report on the move to demolish the Homoeopathy Hospital at Pazhavangady as part of Operation Anantha. Acting on a complaint filed by Kowdiar Harikumar, chairman of SHRC J. B Koshy directed the officers to submit a report before January 27.

Mr. Harikumar had pointed out the importance of the Homoeopathy Hospital in providing treatment to poor people. The hospital had to be relocated to another site, he said in the complaint.
