Three bodies retrieved from Krishna river

The Chandarlapadu police on Sunday retrieved the bodies of Meesala Narasimha Rao (29), Malla Ramana (35) and Mariboina Gopala Rao (27), who drowned in the Krishna river.

The three persons accidentally fell in waters while crossing the river on a ‘ballakattu’ (a barge) on Saturday. The victims were natives of Ramannapeta village in Krishna district. Police, along with the villagers, retrieved the bodies and shifted them to the government hospital for autopsy, said Chandarlapadu SI K. Durga Prasada Rao.
