3 held on charge of chain-snatching

Three alleged robbers, who had been reportedly evading arrest for the last several months, were nabbed by the Malavalli subdivision police recently,

They were identified as Nadeem Pasha of Ghousia Nagar in Mysuru, Tabrez of Gundalpet and Mukharam of Chamarajanagar.

Gold ornaments, Rs. 85,000 in cash and mobile phones have been recovered from the trio. The arrested were involved in several robbery incidents, police said.

Police said they have launched an operation to arrest some of their associates, who are still at large.
