India Travel Awards, supported by the Government of India, Ministry of Tourism were announced at an event at Chandigarh today.
The Gallery of Legends award went to Rajindera Kumar, Working Director, Ambassador Hotel, New Delhi, Former President, FHRAI, Senior MC Member and Chairman, Convention Organising Committee. Game Changer award went to Rupak Gupta, Joint Managing Director, U.P. Hotels while Trailblazer award was won by Prem Pal Gandhi, Chairman, KC Group of Institutions, Colleges and Hotels. The Face of the Future was won by Bjorn Noel Deniese, Vice President Sales & Marketing , Mayfair Hotels & Resorts and Director, Mayfair Spa Resort & Casino at Gangtok, Sikkim.
Some other categories were Best Global Distribution System (GDS) – Travelport Galileo, est General Manager – Jai Kishan-Novotel Kolkata Hotel and Residences, Leading Hospitality Chain – Mayfair Hotels and Resorts, Best Golf Destination – Tourism Authority of Thailand, Best Tour Operator – Inbound – Clubside Tours & Travels, Best MICE Operator – Club 7 Holidays, Best Mid-Market Hotel – Hyatt Raipur, Best Luxury Tour Operator Outbound – Jet Setters and B Best Corporate Travel Agency – Travels & Rentals Lufthansa City Centre.
The Best Corporate Incentive Tours Operator award went to – Aaryan Leisure & Holidays Pvt. Ltd, Best Tour Operator- Outbound – Just Holidays Pvt. Ltd., Best Travel Technology Provider – ecare Technology Labs Pvt. Ltd, Best leisure Resort – Mayfair Palm Beach, Gopalpur, Best Destination Management Company – Jet Setters and Ultimate Service Award in Hospitality – Summit Hotels and Resorts. Basanta Rajkumar, Executive Director, Punjab Heritage & Tourism Promotion Board, Government of Punjab gave away the awards.
