DSK-Hyosung Plans To Launch Eight New Models In 2016
DSK-Hyosung has unveiled several new motorcycles at the ongoing 2015 EICMA Motor Show. Out of the several motorcycles revealed in Milan, several of them will be coming to India. DSK-Hyosung did not add any new product to their portfolio during 2015.
The Indian premium bike market is growing steadily, and Hyosung wants to benefit during this period. DSK Motowheels is confident that the new models from Hyosung will find buyers in the Indian market. They plan on introducing an aggressive strategy for next financial year.
Initially, DSK-Hyosung will introduce an all-new cruiser motorcycle. It will be the GV300 model, which will be an updated version of the Aquila 250 that is sold in the country currently. Cruiser segment in the country is on a rise and motorcycle options is not vast.
Next models to be updated in the country will be the GT250R and GT650R fully-faired motorcycles. They will be introducing the new GT300R and GT650R with an all-new design and additional performance.
DSK-Hyosung will finally bring to India their most affordable offering post three new launches. This will be in the form of GD250R fully-faired and GD250N naked streetfighter motorcycle. Both motorcycles were expected to launch in India during 2015 itself; however, it was delayed due to various reasons. DSK-Hyosung could also introduce the recently unveiled GD450R motorcycle as all three bikes will share several components.
To compete with larger cruiser bikes in the country and international markets, Hyosung will introduce two new models. DSK-Hyosung will be updating their ST7 and GV650 cruiser motorcycles as well.
All new models from DSK-Hyosung will be introduced in the country as Completely Knocked Down units. This will surely help them in pricing the new motorcycles competitively. Unfortunately, DSK Motowheels will not be showcasing Hyosung bikes at 2016 Auto Expo.
