Sub-Inspector shot at

A Delhi Police sub-inspector was shot at and injured by a property dealer in Outer Delhi’s Narela on Friday evening. The policeman has been identified as Shaukeen Pal Tomar who is currently posted with the security department. He was not on duty at the time of the assault, said the police. The accused also allegedly thrashed Tomar’s son and another property dealer. Their condition is out of danger, said police.

A personal dispute between Tomar and his neighbour Vijender Kumar resulted in a violent clash. Police have registered a case of attempt to murder.
