Thane: Naupada women fight over children quarrel, one injured

As per the complaint, the two children were playing together, when the 10-year-old boy allegedly pushed the 9-year-old girl and she got some scratches on her hands when she fell on the ground.

Two mothers fought over their kid's quarrel, which got worse and one got minor injuries and had been admitted in a private hospital. However, the victim was kept under observation for a day and was later discharged. The incident took place around 9.30pm at Chandanwadi of Naupada in Thane on November 13.

As per the complaint, the two children were playing together, when the 10-year-old boy allegedly pushed the 9-year-old girl and she got some scratches on her hands when she fell on the ground. So, the mother of the girl, Jyoti Samudre and her elder daughter Padma Samudre and Padma's grandmother went to the boy's house. As the argument led to a fight, the boy's mother Shewanti More, 52, got minor injuries. Also, when More's daughters Suchit Dalvi and Swati Bhillare (who are married) tried to stop the fight, they were also beaten up. As the boy's mother had got minor injuries, she was taken to a private hospital and was admitted for a day and has been now discharged.

A source from the police station said, "The two families always had some or the other issues.They have earlier too have lodged a complaint against each other. They have register a molestation case against each other earlier."

Investigation officer A Pardeshi from Naupada police station said, "We have arrested three women – grand mother, mother and daughter, and but after a brief investigation, they have been released on bail with a warning to them that they do not repeat this. The victim has been discharged after being admitted for a day, as she had only received minor injuries. The victim in her complaint has also alleged that while the accused was beating them, they have taken the gold chain from both her daughters forcibly."

A case has been register against Samudre's family with Naupada police station under sections 452, 323, 504, 427 of 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Further investigating is on.
