District Collector Archana Patnaik will preside over the monthly Agriculturists Grievances Meet to be held at the collectorate here from 10 a.m. on Friday, November 27. Farmers can take part in it and get their agriculture related grievances redressed.
Applications invited
Applications are sought from advocates to apply for the post of legal advisor to the Superintendent of Police of Coimbatore District. The mandate of the legal advisor is to be assistive to the SP in all legal aspects in cases pertaining to crime and administration. The candidate on selection would be given a consolidated monthly pay of Rs. 20,000.
Applicants should be a graduate who has completed bachelor of law or integrated law course. They should be enrolled in the Bar Council and have five years experience in the district court or High Court or Administrative Tribunal. The applicant should not have dealt with any criminal cases. Interested advocates can submit applications at the District Police Office on or before Nov. 30.
Competition
Nikitha International School will organise ‘Agni Siragugal’, an inter-school competition in memory of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on the school premises on Saturday. Students of class three to twelve from Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode and Pollachi can participate in this event.
Winners will be awarded cash prizes for more than Rs. one lakh. The event will include a variety of creative contest, photography contest, learning activities, variety of fun games and a seminar by start-up consultants.
