Johannesburg - President Jacob Zuma on Thursday appointed Percy Sechemane as a member of the National Planning Commission for a period of five years.

Sechemane, a former Rand Water Chief Executive Officer, joins 25 commissioners appointed by the President earlier this week.

The National Planning Commission is chaired by the Minister in the Presidency for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, Jeff Radebe.
