Saldanha says they shall approach president to remove Lokayukta

Former chief justice -Karnataka High Court MF Saldanha on Thursday said he will approach President Pranab Mukherjee, seeking his intervention in removing lokayukta Bhaskar Rao. Expressing dismay over government for not acting against Bhaskar Rao, Saldanha said public are losing confidence in the prestigious institution, which once was a hope to those fighting against corruption.
Addressing a press meet, the former CJ said "I have written a letter to governor, asking him to act against Bhaskar Rao at the earliest. Bhaskar Rao is ruining the institution and he should have walked away long back on moral grounds," he said.
