The HC has told the AAP government not to withhold no objection certificate to the DDCA for the upcoming India-South Africa Test match.
The Delhi HC has asked the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP government in the state not to take coercive steps against the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) till further orders, with regard to the entertainment tax dues payable the body.
The HC has also directed DDCA to deposit with the government Rs 1 crore in two instalments.

In a major relief to DDCA, Delhi HC on Wednesday had paved the way for Feroz Shah Kotla to host the fourth and final Test between India and South Africa and directed MCD to issue Provisional Occupancy Certificate (POC).
HC also appointed Justice Mukul Mudgal to oversee the affairs of fourth India-South Africa's test match.
Delhi HC in its observation said, "We don't want to penalise the people and players by not holding the match." DDCA moved High Court on Tuesday with a plea seeking a direction to South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) over issuing a POC to hold the international match at Ferozshah Kotla stadium.
On Tuesday, the Arvind Kejriwal-appointed panel to probe irregularities in the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) had come up with the suggestion that the controversial body be suspended. It further added that the BCCI cannot convince it that there are no irregularities in the Delhi cricket board.
The committee had also recommended that the BCCI should replace the DDCA with a body of professional cricketers, and that sports bodies like DDCA should be brought under the purview of RTI.
Kejriwal also said that the Lodha Committee, which submitted a damning report into spot fixing in IPL earlier this year, should look at the DDCA case.
Earlier, it was reported that Delhi could lose out on hosting the 4th India-South Africa Test since clearance for the same had not been provided by the AAP government. DDCA are supposed to pay entertainment tax in excess of Rs 24 crore in order to get clearance for organizing the match.
