    A royal December wedding for Smita Crishna's daughter Nyrika & Yeshwant Rao Holkar

    Jamshyd Godrej's sister, Smita's daughter is all set to marry Yeshwant Rao Holkar, the scion of the royal family of Indore.

    The wedding calendar of 2015 is about to end with a grand one. Jamshyd Godrej's sister, Smita Crishna, is gearing up to host the wedding of her daughter, Nyrika, during the last week of December. The groom, Yeshwant Rao Holkar, is the son of Richard and Sally Holkar and the scion of the erstwhile royal family of Indore.
    The celebrations will take place f rom December 26-30 at the homes of the Mumbai-based Crishnas and Maheshwarbased Holkars. According to guests who have been invited, the wedding is expected to be an intimate and private affair with Parsi traditions and a temple ritual.

    Nyrika and Yeshwant first met as toddlers at the West Wind nursery school, Smita Crishna told ETPanache via text message. They reconnected years later when they both moved back to Mumbai. The couple plans to settle down in Mumbai.

    Nyrika studied law at University College London. Upon her return to India she worked with AZB & Partners for several years and recently joined the family business Godrej & Boyce, said Crishna. Yeshwant started his career in finance and holds an MBA from INSEAD. He has founded UMOJA, an online travel portal for persons with disabilities.

    And post-nuptials, where will the duo jet off to? "Yeshwant wants the honeymoon to be a surprise," said Crishna.
