DEHRADUN: The National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources beat the Institute of Himalayan Bio-resource Technology (IHBT) by four wickets in a match in the 47th Shanti Swaroop Bhatnagar Memorial Sports Tournament at the Indian Institute of Petroleum here today.

Dehradun, November 19

The National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources beat the Institute of Himalayan Bio-resource Technology (IHBT) by four wickets in a match in the 47th Shanti Swaroop Bhatnagar Memorial Sports Tournament at the Indian Institute of Petroleum here today. While batting first, the IHBT set a total of 85 runs. In reply, National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources achieved the target in 15.2 overs losing six wickets. In another match, Central Building Research Institute (CBRI) beat National Physical Laboratory (NPL) by 14 runs.

In volleyball, the Institute of Himalayan Bio-resource Technology beat the National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources 25-12, 25-18. In other matches, Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute beat Central Road Research Institute (CRRI) 25-06, 25-15; Central Scientific Instruments Organization (CSIO) beat National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources 25-15, 25-16; while Central Building Research Institute (CBRI) beat Central Road Research Institute (CRRI) 22-25, 25-06, and 15-10.
