Manjeet Minhas is Dalhousie Press Club chief

DALHOUSIE: Manjeet Minhas has been unanimously elected as the president and Rajendra Gupta as general secretary of the Dalhousie Press Club in the biennial elections held under the chairmanship of its chief patron Subhash Mahajan at Banikhet on Monday.

Manjeet Minhas has been unanimously elected as the president and Rajendra Gupta as general secretary of the Dalhousie Press Club in the biennial elections held under the chairmanship of its chief patron Subhash Mahajan at Banikhet on Monday.

Among other office-bearers, Anil Oberoi was elected as the vice-president, Vishal Shekhri as secretary, Nitin Paul as cashier while Surernder Bhawani has been elected as the chief adviser of the club.

The newly elected president, Manjeet Minhas, said he would work with zeal for the well-being of journalists. Meanwhile, the Chamba District Journalists’ Association president Shiv Sharma congratulated the newly elected officer-bearers of the Dalhousie Press Club.
