Plans chalked out for IAF's Iron Fist-2016

IAF's biggest air fire power show along with the show of strengthIron Fist 2016, will be organized at Chandan field firing range in Jaisalmer district on March 18 next year. For the preparation of the proposed Iron Fist 2016, a meeting was held on Tuesday in which district collector Vishwamohan Sharma gave necessary directions to officers of various departments.He directed his officers to ensure that the work gets completed by February 15. He said that President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, defence minister Manohar Parikar, including other cabinet ministers and foreign delegates are expected to attend the show. In this air show air force's fighter planes, helicopters, transportation planes and other unmanned air vehicles and officers and personnel of all branches of air force will take part and preparations have been started at war footing.
District collector during the review meeting of iron fist 2016 gave necessary directions to officers. In the meeting SP rajiv pachar, additional dist coll bhagirath Sharma, air force station group captain gnv vijay anand and other officers were present. The district collector directed SE PWD to repair the road from Chandan village to the firing range, while also directing officials to arrange for fire tenders and mobile toilets for the event. CMHO and PMO were directed to provide ambulance with staff. He also directed officers to make provision for electricity supply as per the demand of air force at the firing range.
SP pachar said sufficient police force will be provided for security. Group captain anand gave information in regard to the programme and what works have to be done and asked to complete the work by feb 15, 2016.
