CHANDIGARH: A blood donation camp organized by NSS unit of MCM DAV College for Women witnessed overwhelming response from students and staff.
The camp registered a total of 280 donors who contributed a total of 127 blood bags. The donors will be awarded certificates and donor cards which will allow them to avail blood bags from PGI in times of need.
The medical staff of PGI applauded the value-based education system at MCM for infusing such sense of responsibility into students.
College principal Dr Nisha Bhargava commended the spirited participation and lauded the efforts of the organizers to initiate a drive to cater to the needs of fellow beings.
