First AAITF Bangkok expo to showcase thousands of aftermarket products

The inaugural Automotive Aftermarket International Trade Fair, AAITF Bangkok 2015, will take place from 9-11 December 2015 at the IMPACT Forum Exhibition Centre, Bangkok. The three-day B2B event, free to attend for trade visitors, is organised by Tarsus Group Ltd, an international media company, and co-located and partnered with the organizers of the Thailand International Motor Expo, which annually attracts over 1.38 million visitors.

Thailand is the largest production base in the ASEAN and the nerve centre of the supply chain for the automotive aftermarket. AAITF Bangkok 2015 will provide a much-needed B2B platform for buyers from one of the world’s fastest growing aftermarkets to source new products which can enhance their business.

The inaugural event will feature over 200 international and local brands, showcasing new and innovative products at the forefront of the industry. Global thought leaders such as Bosch, RUPES S.p.A, Sussex Autoparts and inCarBite have already shown their support in anticipation of making new commercial connections with 5,000+ buyers from Thailand and across SE Asia. Meanwhile, visitor pre-registrations are strong thanks to innovative hosted buyer and content programs featuring new trends such as electronic retailing for the aftermarket and in car electronics, as well as an event partnership with Thailand’s leading consumer motor show, the Thailand International Motor Expo.”

Global show

AAITF Bangkok 2015 has caught the attention of key local and international aftermarket brands which will be bringing their most innovative products to the show. Some of the key Thai exhibiting brands include Meguiars, Drivebot, SJS Pro Products Co., Ltd. and PP Super Wheels. International exhibitors include Rupes S.p.A, Autovox, Autoglym, Sussex Autoparts, inCarBite, Connects 2, Mchanix, Kunming Songcheng Automobile Repairing Equipment Co., Ltd, Lintec Singapore and Shift Performance Asia (M) SDN BHD (MaxxOil).

The show has seen international support with exhibiting countries including Thailand, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Australia, United Kingdom, Italy, Poland, USA (California), China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan.

Sourcing hub

AAITF Bangkok will act as a sourcing hub, with exhibiting brands covering the full range of the auto aftermarket.

RUPES S.p.A (Italy) will be bringing its Bigfoot Polishing System to the exhibition and doing live product demonstrations from their stand, B03. The system is made up of random orbital polishers and accessories (Compounds, backing pads, foams).

MaxxOil (Stand F01), will be bringing its ‘MaxxOil Engine Oil’, it contains heat-activated additives, so that as your engine temperature increases, a viscosity improver and anti-wear zinc additives kick in to maintain oil thickness and provide unsurpassed wear protection.

Cami (HK) Co Ltd, (Stand D08), will be bringing the InCarBite ‘OE fit in-vehicle Wi-Fi dash car cam’. This Wi-Fi dash car cam has wireless in-vehicle charging and is also suitable for home and office use. It has a crash test approved headrest mount and can be fully integrated with factory radios and LCD for enhanced features.

Picolink Technology Co. Ltd (Stand D03), will display their TPMS (Tyre pressure monitoring system). With an aluminium alloy frame, this tyre pressure monitoring system simultaneously monitors the car battery voltage to prevent you from failing to start your car.

Connects2, stand D06-2, will be bringing the Adaptiv ‘Adaptive Multimedia’. Adaptive is a brand new product allowing extensive multimedia and navigation upgrades to a vehicles OEM screen. Available for VW, Seat, Skoda, Peugeot and Mercedes currently. Plug and play integration of Bluetooth, iPod/ android, USB and aux are all included.

Stone Will Company Limited (Stand D05-1), will be bringing the CARTOOL ‘Z- 020 Pneumatic Cleaning Gun’. It cleans using a ‘Tornador Effect’ providing an ultra-high performance. This product has low air consumption and requires little maintenance.

Product launches onsite at the show will include DriveBot which is said to be ‘The definitive innovation in car care made in Thailand’.  “Drivebot is a small electrical device that makes car inspection as easy as finger touch. It can analyze the condition of a car through the OBD II port linking with the car’s ECU and displaying results and advice via the mobile app,” explain the makers. 

Innovative onsite features and product launches

The three-day trade exhibition will be host to a full range of onsite show floor features covering different aspects of the auto aftermarket. Each day there will be an official showfloor tour of the show floor features by the show organizers with dedicated live product demonstrations. Trade visitors can register to attend these tours via the AAITF Bangkok website.

Autovox (Stand C13) will be presenting KW suspensions and Akrapovic exhaust systems on their show floor feature space, two of the world's most reputable aftermarket tuning component manufacturers.

InCarBite will be hosting an in-car electronics accessories feature where they will be demonstrating new patterned products.

Autoglym will be demonstrating its ‘passion for perfection’ on stand D12, showcasing their professional car care brand on a luxury car through live training workshops while Sussex Autoparts (UK) will be doing a live demonstration of dismantling of a gearbox on stand F06.

In cooperation with The Union Motors Repairing Association of Thailand, AAITF Bangkok 2015 will feature two cars with modified body and paintwork by Siam Auto Body.  They will feature a BMW that has been transformed into a silver colour with a pigmented effect that changes its shade according to the light angle of incidence. They will also feature a Jaguar XKR converted from a classic sports car into a modern Jaguar by incorporating the front and rear body parts from the new model.
