SHE team nabs seven persons for eve-teasing

HYDERABAD: SHE team of Hyderabad police arrested seven persons for harassing women. Cops arrested Md Mujeeb, 24, and Md Afzal, 25, private employees of Falaknuma for harassing a married woman by frequently calling on her phone and sending her abusive text messages.
The victim complained to SHE teams through mobile messages. Police nabbed the duo from their home on Monday and produced them before the court.The accused were sentenced to three days imprisonment and Rs 250 fine.
In another case, five persons including Syed Shah Hasan, 18, a student of Tolichowki and four juvenile offenders were caught by the SHE teams when they were teasing women near I-Max theatre on Monday. While Syed was produced before the court, the minors were let off after being counseled in the presence of their parents.
