Games postponed

LALITPUR: The 104th board meeting of the National Sports Council (NSC) on Monday decided to postpone the seventh National Games.

The Games will not be held from Match 1-6 in Eastern Region. The Games was originally slated for November 27 to December 4.

The meeting, chaired by Minister for Youth and Sports Satya Narayan Mandal, decided the new dates owing to the adverse situation in the country.

The regional selection will now be held from February 24-27.

The meeting also decided to seek proposed budget from the national associations to prepare for the 12th South Asian Games slated for February 6-16 in India.
