Bal Ramlila concludes with coronation of Lord Rama

The Bal Ramlila performed by kids at Kudiyal Gaon in Oan Patti of Pratap Nagar block of Tehri district concluded with the coronation of Lord Rama to the throne yesterday. The child artistes performed the Ramlila that went on for several days in the village showing utmost professionalism and without forgetting a

single verse, said Ram Prasad, a senior citizen from the village. The tableaus depicting the scenes from the epic Ramyana and Mahabharata were also taken out and the artistes performing the role of Rama,

Lakshman and Sita were taken around the village where they were garlanded by residents. They organised the Ramlila by collecting the money on their own.

Kumar Vadya, a child artiste said the kids of the village were enthusiastic about the project and it was an opportunity for them to be engaged in some creative works at the tender age.

Ankur, Ayush, Nikita, Rohit and others participated in the Ramlila.
