The Navi Mumbai police has dispatched a team of officers outside Maharashtra to nab four accomplices of Suraj Singh, former assistant vice-president at Naaptol website, for allegedly selling the source code of the website to create another shopping portal owned by actor Akshay Kumar and entrepreneur Raj Kundra. The police traced the call records after which they came to know that the remaining four accused were outside Maharashtra at an undisclosed location. “We have sent our team to the location to nab the accused. Once we had attempted to nab them when they fled the place. Our team is searching their relatives place too to reach them.”

After Naaptol’s technical head filed a complaint against the accused who is a former employee of the website, the cyber crime cell arrested two persons for allegedly stealing data and source code of Naaptol. Sources have claimed that the three other accused who were also working with Singh were also involved in the case. The police expects to use them as witnesses against the main accused.
