Global education summit begins

The 8{+t}{+h}edition of the Indo-Global Education Summit 2015 began here on Saturday with Elaine P. Maimon, president of the Governor’s State University in Illinois of USA delivering the keynote address on the subject of ‘Information, Knowledge and Widsom’.

Among those present and who spoke were Prof. D.N. Reddy, member of the University Grants Commission, V.N. Gadgil, chief executive of the L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad), and Anil Reddy Vennem, president, Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FAPCCI). The two-day event is being organised by the Federation of Telangana and AP Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FTAPCCI), OMICS International and the Indus Foundation. The theme of the conference is ‘Educational Excellence Without Borders’ and is being attended by a large number of delegates from foreign universities and institutes across India.
