Abbottabad investment centre inaugurated

TARBELA GHAZI - An international standard investment centre inaugurated in Abbottabad, all facilities would be available to the investors according to their requirements and investment under one roof whereas government would be responsible for their security and protection, renowned economic expert and chairman Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan Zafar-ul-Haq Hajazi inaugurated the centre.
According to the details, fulfilling the long-awaited demand of the Hazara region for such a centre where they could make their investment on local level, finally an international standard investment centre has been inaugurated in Abbottabad. A large number of representatives from various investment companies were also present.
While addressing to the inauguration ceremony Zafar-ul-Haq Hajazi said that capital market of Pakistan was fully capable to become a regional market of South Asia and SECP was striving and taking concrete steps to promote the Pakistani markets in that prospect. He said that investment centre in Abbottabad was established by the Central Depository Company on the proposal and recommendation of SECP.
Hajazi said that the investment centre in Abbottabad was established with the calibration of all three stock exchanges in Pakistan and that newly established centre would be proved financially sound and strong. He said that the Abbottabad investment centre would be able to make investment for long lasting infrastructure developmental projects and its strong and sound stock exchange would attract to the international investors towards it. He said that centre would play an affective role in the development and progress of the country.
Hajazi said that provision of financial assistance and facilities to the masses remained always important for the for the country economic so that people may be able to get and avail opportunities for investment of their savings in the government approved schemes. He said that opportunities and facilities available in the capital market of the country should also be available in all cities of the country. He said that people of Hazara region would be enjoying and availing all facilities for their investment which were available in other big cities of the country.
He said that Investment Centers would also be established in other cities of the country like Mirpur, Sialkot, Dhodial etc on the patron of Abbottabad Investment Centre.
Zafar-ul-Haq Hajazi said that six east management companies, broker houses of two stock exchanges, Karachi stock exchange, National Investment Trust and Central Depository Company would establish their offices in Abbottabad investment Center whereas SECP would also establish its counter to facilitate the new companies for their registration and to provide them assistance in electronic trading services.
