Meet the Cast of A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE; Opens Tonight at the Lyceum Theatre!

The Young Vic's critically-acclaimed production of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge, directed by Ivo van Hove, opens tonight at the Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street). It will play an 18-week limited engagement through Sunday, February 21, 2016.

The Young Vic production of A View from the Bridge premiered in April 2014 to ecstatic reviews, instantly sold out its initial engagement, and subsequently transferred to London's West End where it recently concluded another completely sold-out run. This production, which marks the Broadway debut of critically-acclaimed director Ivo van Hove, is being presented during playwright Arthur Miller's Centenary.

PHOEBE FOX (Catherine) appeared in A Month in the Country at Chichester Festival Theatre in 2010. The following year she starred in As You Like It at the Rose Theatre, The Acid Test at the Royal Court Theatreupstairs and There Is A War at the National Theatre as part of their Double Feature in the Paintframe. Based on these performances she was nominated for the 2011 Evening Standard Theatre Award for Outstanding Newcomer. In 2012 she appeared as Grace in Switch, a TV series about witches living in a city. In 2014 she appeared in The Musketeers as the Duchess of Savoy; in A Poet in New York as Liz Reitell, and also as Eve Perkins in The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death. In 2015 she starred as Vanessa Bell in Life in Squares, a BBC drama about the Bloomsbury Group.

RICHARD HANSELL (Louis) appeared in Royal Shakespeare Company's productions of A Patriot for Me andTwo Gentlemen of Verona and in The Madness of King George and Lady Windermere's Fan in London's West End. His other theater credits include Macbeth, Kemble's Riot, As You Like It, The Tempest, Troilus and Cressida, Crown Matrimonial, Hamlet, Tonight at 8:30, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, The School for Scandal, and Habitats. His film credits include The Wolfman, Hamlet, and Shine. On television, he was most recently seen in Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None." His other television credits include "Inside Flight 1549: Miracle on the Hudson," "Downton Abbey," "Doctors," "The Royal," "Spooks," "Holby City," "E=mc2," "Queer as Eighteenth Century Folk," "Family Affairs," "Crossroads," and "Berkeley Square."

MARK STRONG (Eddie) is known for his role in the television series Our Friends in the North and films such as RocknRolla, Body of Lies, Syriana, The Young Victoria, Sherlock Holmes, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Kick-Ass, Green Lantern, Zero Dark Thirty, Robin Hood,John Carter, The Imitation Game, Mindscape and Kingsman: The Secret Service.At the beginning of the 2000s he appeared in Heartlands and in Shakespeare's Twelfth Night at the Donmar Warehouse, for which he was nominated for the 2003 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Performance in a Supporting Role. Strong won the 2015 Olivier Award for Best Actor for this role in A View from the Bridge.

RUSSELL TOVEY (Rodolpho) last appeared on Broadway in the National Theatre production of The History Boys, playing Rudge, the role he originated in London and subsequently performed around the world. He reprised the role in the film version of the play, directed by Nicholas Hytner. Tovey's other theatre credits include Howard Katz, Henry V, His Girl Friday and His Dark Materials (National Theatre); Plasticine, A Miracle and The Pass (Royal Court Theatre); The Sea and Sex With A Stranger (London's West End). His film credits include Pride, Grabbers, The Pass, Mindhorn, and the upcoming The Lady in The Van. His television credits include the role of Kevin in HBO's "Looking," "The Night Manager," "Being Human," "Banished," "Sherlock," "Doctor Who," "Little Dorrit," "Him and Her," and "The Job Lot."

NICOLA WALKER (Beatrice) is known for her starring roles in various British television programmes from the 1990s onwards, including Ruth Evershed in the spy drama Spooks from 2003-2011. She has also worked in theatre, radio and film. In 2013, she won the Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actress for the play The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. In 2014, she was nominated for the BAFTA TV Award for Best Supporting Actress for the BBC drama Last Tango in Halifax.

MICHAEL ZEGEN (Marco) is best known for his role as probie firefighter "Damien Keefe" on the FX Network television drama Rescue Me, as well as his recurring role as "Dwight the Troubled Teen" on over 50 episodes of the Late Show with David Letterman. In 2011 Zegen, along with James Ransone, were cast in supporting roles in the HBO comedy series How To Make It In America. In mid-2011, Zegen was cast in a recurring guest role in the second season of the AMC series The Walking Dead.
