Shah Rukh Khan reveals the real story behind Salman Khan's 'DDLJ' Dubsmash tribute!

Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan have hugged and patched up long time back. As fondly as they speak about each other, the two have been great friends as well. Recently, Salman surprised everyone when he and his entire Prem Ratan Dhan Payo gang paid an adorable tribute by Dubsmashing to SRK-Kajol's hit DDLJ title track.

In turn, the Baadshah along with his Dilwale team including Varun Dhawan, Kajol and Kriti Sanon grooved to the PRDP title song.

But the inside story was altogether different. SRK reveals, "Salman called me last night. The first time, he called, I missed his call. Then when he called me the second time he told me, "Your first poster is coming out so I want to do a Dubsmash on your film’s romantic song." I told him that it hasn’t released, toh kaise karega tu? Hence, they did it on DDLJ."

It was then that SRK told his Dilwale team to do a Dubsmash on PRDP and the race began. "Then we decided to do it on PRDP. It was like a competition. But they uploaded their version before us. Super fun it was," he smiled. Varun adds, "Shah rukh sir was like 'We have to put it up before them'. But they did it seconds before we could put up our video."

Kajol added, "Their network was better. We missed it by a few seconds." Now you know how it all happened!
